Site access & Set up:

Parade line-up begins promptly at 8:00am

Vendor Setup can begin as early as 7:30am no later than 9:30am

(Streets will be blocked off limiting road access after 9:30am)

 

Vendors:

Table, Tent, and Two Chairs will be provided. For Food Trucks, please indicate that you will need a parking spot and not a table setup.

 

Security:

The Festival will not be held responsible for lost, stolen or damaged merchandise.

The Rules:​

  1. All parade participants must pay appropriate entry fee. One vehicle is included per Unit. Additional vehicles $10.00 each, commercial vehicles $50.00 each fee per vehicle and $50.00 fee per commercial.

  2. Three vehicle maximum for each registrant and Two vehicle maximum for commercial vehicles.

  3. APPLICATIONS & PAYMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED NO LATER THAN August 21, 2024.

  4. No individual or unit will be allowed to take part in the parade without the prior approval of the 11th CDCC Parade Committee.

  5. All individuals and organizations participating in the parade are subject to the laws and regulations of the City of Cleveland. Failure to adhere to these laws and regulations or to obey the lawful command of an official empowered to give such command will be cause for immediate removal from the parade and may be cause for arrest and/or fine.

  6. The 11th CDCC Parade Marshals that are assigned for that purpose will control the conduct and movement of the parade. Participants will obey the directions of the Parade Marshals related to parade activities and functions. Failure to do so will cause the immediate removal of the offending individual or unit from the parade.

  7. An approved application is not transferable to any other individual or organization. Any unit obtaining approval through false information will be disqualified and prohibited from participating in the parade.

  8. All units must be clearly identified in a way that spectators and television cameras can see the name and/or sponsor of the unit. Identification must be placed on both sides of vehicles and floats. Banners or signs that can be easily read at a distance of at least fifty (50) feet must precede marching or drill team units.

  9. The throwing of any object(s) (including candy) along the parade route will not be allowed. Items may, however, be handed or passed to viewers of the parade.

  10. All parade participants participate at their own risk. Parade participants should consult with their insurance agents to determine if their policies provide sufficient protection while their units are in the parade.

  11. A letter of confirmation will be sent confirming your participation in the parade and your assembly area.

  12. The time allowed for registration of vehicles and the assembly of your entire unit will be from 7:30 am until 9:30am. Monday, September 02, 2024. THE PARADE WILL START PROMPTLY AT 11:00 AM. After 9:30 am, NO UNITS will be allowed in the parade. Please note that due to limited space in the assembly area, no space will be allowed for parking vehicles not participating in the parade. During parade assembly, any vehicle(s) that are in violation of stated rules will be towed.

  13. Individuals and organizations in the parade are expected to perform courteously, in good taste and with safety in mind at all times during the formation, execution and dispersal of the parade. Parade Marshals will remove any person(s) or unit(s) who in the Marshals’ sole discretion violates any regulations.

  14. There will be no refunds of payment for any reason.

  15. All participants must comply with these rules and regulations. PLEASE REVIEW CAREFULLY WITH YOUR GROUP.

 

 

FAQ

When will I know my placement in the parade?

You will be notified within 72 hours of parade kick-off of your placement in the line-up.

 

Where do Vendors setup?

Vendor area is located at Luke Easter Park, however, you will receive a map, marking your spot in the vendor setup within 72 hours of parade kick-off.

 

If I arrive later than 9:30am, will my vehicle still be admitted into the parade?

ABSOLUTELY NOT, all vehicles must be in line by 9:30am in order to participate. For safety reason, there are NO ACCEPTIONS.
